The Guardian Pharmacy of South Georgia team attended the Georgia Association of Community Care Providers (GACCP) 2019 Summer Conference at Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge last month.
The conference started with a brief introduction of the departments under DCH and a Q&A on hot topics impacting day-to-day operations. Motivational speaker, Kenn Kington, followed the introduction, generating excitement for the upcoming sessions.
Sessions covered preparing for hurricanes, protocol for natural disasters and treating/preventing bed bugs and other infestations. We also attended an informative session from Shirley Rodrigues, who provided a state update on PCG/ALC & ADH providers. This conference offered valuable insight on keeping buildings up to date on codes, protocols, and so much more.
