On January 2, 2017, at least nine tornadoes ran through the southwest region of Georgia. Thousands of residents were left without power.
Guardian Pharmacy of South Georgia along with many other Dougherty County businesses gathered together a large amount of donations to be taken to Dougherty County to help out where it was needed.
