On May 18, 2016, Guardian Pharmacy of South Georgia attended the annual health fair put together by Allendale County Hospital and John Edward Harter Nursing Center. This year the fair was held at the University of South Carolina-Salkehatchie West Campus and had over 300 attendees.
Allendale County Hospital (ACH) organizes this health fair every year to help the community stay up-to-date on health care by providing businesses, health care organizations, and ACH departments an opportunity to set up booths and relay information to attendees. The departments of ACH participated in the health fair by checking blood pressure, drawing blood, and showcasing several of their departments throughout the hospital, such as radiology, cardiopulmonary, health information management and more.
Guardian Pharmacy of South Georgia was honored to be able to attend the event and to have the opportunity to show our dedication to health care within the community. We look forward to attending the fair again next year.
